Happy 90th Anniversary, Bullocks Wilshire!

On September 26th, 1929, Bullocks Wilshire opened its doors for the first time. 90 years later, the Southwestern community and a group of special guests joined together to celebrate and re-enact the grand opening of Bullocks Wilshire!

Members of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles came dressed to impress!  

The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles presented Southwestern Law School with a ceremonial check for the preservation study of Bullocks Wilshire. A huge thank you to the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles for their generous donation!

Jamie Hwang and Joe Torres from the Office of L.A. City Council President Herb J. Wesson, Jr. presented Southwestern with a congratulatory proclamation. 

The local media were invited to help celebrate Bullocks Wilshire's 90th!

 Special guests included Lilly Lui from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Also in attendance was the author of Harlow in Hollywood, Darrell Rooney.
