Professor Jordan is an accomplished negotiator with extensive experience of more than 20 years of success in settling disputes, defeating tough adversaries, and facilitating conflict resolution.
A native Virginian, Professor Jordan received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and double pre-law minors in Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies from the prestigious James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. She later earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the District of Columbia School of Law (DCSL), where she founded the Sports and Entertainment Law Association (SESLA), and clerked for United States Magistrate the Honorable Judge Arthur L. Burnett, Sr. of the Superior Court. Professor Jordan was also an editor of the public-spirited DCSL Law Review and a member of the winning moot court competition team. An emboldened counselor, Professor Jordan participated in the school’s Juvenile Law Clinic where she worked ongoing cases with clients under the supervision of an attorney-professor, learned practical experience, and specialized in pro bono representation and appellate-adjudication to advance youth justice.
Professor Jordan started a career in entertainment law at a firm in Los Angeles before becoming the Director of Legal & Business Affairs of House of Blues Corporate. She chaired advising the CEO and Board Directors on contracts and litigation, monitored a nine-figure budget, shepherded significant negotiations for new innovative brand launches, international business deals, and intellectual property protections.
Professor Jordan represented, and negotiated deals for more than 100 influential entertainers and elite professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, PGA, Boxing, and UFC, as well as behemoth brands.
As the President/CEO of Jam Sports Productions, Professor Jordan made history as the first architect and Executive Producer of an official NFL-approved event for the Super Bowl earning recognition as the first-ever black woman in NFL history to create, negotiate and produce an NFL sanctioned event. She is recognized as a sports and entertainment-culture powerhouse. She has worked with, represented, and negotiated deals for more than 100 influential entertainers and elite professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, PGA, Boxing, and UFC, as well as behemoth brands.
An incurable philanthropist, Professor Jordan counts amid her accomplishments her success as the Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Juli’s Kids Motivated to Succeed, a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing America's abused foster youth with educational, athletic and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Currently, Professor Jordan is solidifying her place in pro football history as the Co-Owner and Chief Marketing Officer of the San Diego Warriors professional football team, a franchise of the newly cemented Freedom Football League.
