Professor Sliskovich received an LL.M. in taxation from NYU, a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a B.A. from the University of Southern California. After practicing tax law in California, Professor Sliskovich joined the faculty of Loyola where his primary areas of interest are taxation and trusts and wills. Professor Sliskovich has taught courses in Individual Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax, Business & Tax Planning, a seminar in Advanced Corporate Tax Planning and Trusts & Wills. He currently holds an appointment as Visiting Professor of Law at Belmont University College of Law and has held appointments as a Visiting Professor at the UCLA School of Law, the USC Gould School of Law and the Marshall Graduate School of Business Administration at USC. In addition, Professor Sliskovich has served as the Site Coordinator for Loyola’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, supervising law students who provide tax assistance to low-income taxpayers and as the faculty advisor to the Loyola J.D./MBA Dual Degree Program. Professor Sliskovich has been an instructor with BarBri, where he lectured on the topics of Wills and Trusts, preparing students to take the California Bar Exam. Professor Sliskovich is a member of the California and Tennessee bars. He has acted as an expert witness in complex tax and estate litigation and has been recognized for his teaching, receiving Loyola’s Excellence in Teaching award.
