American Bankruptcy Institute Awards 2L Sanaz Ahari
Congratulations to 2L Sanaz Ahari on receiving the 2019 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal and Certificate of Excellence!
The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) is the largest association of bankruptcy professionals in the nation. Its Medal of Excellence program recognizes top law students from across the country who demonstrate excellence in bankruptcy coursework and scholarship. Participating law schools nominate the student with the highest grade in a bankruptcy course or other area of bankruptcy scholarship for the award.
Sanaz was nominated for her exceptional work in Professor Dorff's Business Associations class, in which she earned the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence.
“It is an honor to be a recipient of the 2019 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal and Certificate of Excellence and to be further recognized for my achievements in the Business Associations course. I am so grateful for this award.”
- Sanaz Ahari, 2L
"Sanaz is an outstanding student, someone I turned to whenever I had a particularly difficult question to ask or needed an especially sophisticated analysis," said Professor Dorff. "She participated actively in class and was always thoroughly prepared. I was not in the least surprised when she received an A+ on the exam; in fact, anything less would have been almost unthinkable."
Well done, Sanaz!
