Sianna Bethune

Sianna joins Southwestern as the Archivist, responsible for processing and caring for our law school, department store, and architectural collections. Her previous work as a local history archivist has given her experience in archival appraisal, processing, description, and preservation. Her interdisciplinary background also gives her a unique perspective when problem-solving and implementing new workflows.

Sianna is passionate about preserving history and making information more accessible to those who need it. She is also interested in reparative archival description and participatory archival practices. In her free time, she enjoys reading, bothering her cats, and collecting things.
