This course explores the intricacies of juvenile delinquency law, a dynamic area of practice that addresses how the criminal justice system applies to children who commit crimes. It will closely examine current and recent legislation, and evaluate policy arguments concerning delinquency issues.

By learning how advocates raise juvenile justice issues through legislation, statutory construction arguments, amicus, and policy work, students will engage with issues affecting juvenile justice and understand the framework of the juvenile delinquency system.
