Joining the Tax Law Society

Tax law is a legal area that is subject to constant change. It involves not just the preparation of individual tax returns, but also the interpretation of tax consequences associated with business planning, business transactions, estate planning, and personal and business investments. Tax law will always play a vital role in an attorney's practice.

Southwestern's Tax Law Society brings together students, professors, and practitioners interested in the law of taxation. Throughout the year, the Society invites local attorneys to campus to speak about current tax law changes and taxation issues, and provides discussions concerning various sectors of practice available to the future tax attorney.
