12/18/20 - Student Services Fee for Spring 2021 & New Campus Photos

Dear Southwestern Students,

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy and safe. 

I'm writing with two brief updates.

First, I wanted to let you know that the Student Services Fee for the Spring 2021 semester has been eliminated, as was the case with the Fall 2020 Fee (see the July 22 announcement below).

Also, I wanted to share some additional photos showing the Covid-related modifications we have made to our campus in preparation for the time when we are permitted by the authorities to reopen.  They are attached.

July 22 Announcement

Dear Southwestern Students,

We’re writing to let you know that, in view of the move to remote learning this fall and the uncertainty regarding when the campus will be allowed to reopen, we have decided, in consultation with the Chair of the Board of Trustees, to eliminate the Student Services Fee for the fall 2020 semester (or, for SCALE students, the first two periods of the 2020-21 academic year).  The Student Services Fee is $200 per year (fall and spring) for traditional students and $250 per year for SCALE students.  Those of you who have already paid the Fee for the entire 2020-21 academic year will receive a 50% refund on or before Friday, July 24, 2020.
