This seminar offers students a complete torts experience. Integrating policy, strategy, practice, and procedure, students will explore the various pretrial stages of tort litigation. In addition to reinforcing core tort concepts, the course examines the psychology of tort litigation, and develops essential tort skills.

These lessons will be strengthened through a series of practical simulations that span the course of a tort case. Such simulations may include written exercises like drafting memos, pleadings, discovery and/or discovery plans, or motions and oral exercises like client interviews, settlement negotiations, and motion arguments.
