The course focuses on the practical and procedural aspects of litigating and arbitrating transnational business and trade disputes.

Additionally, other forms of international dispute resolution, such as mediation and electronic commerce dispute resolution, are examined. Special attention is given to issues regarding personal jurisdiction, service or process and gathering evidence abroad, conflicts of laws, arbitration procedures, clause drafting, mediation, participant codes of conduct, and award and judgment enforcement.
